Frente a publicação da Portaria Interministerial nº 1 dos Ministérios do Planejamento, Desenvolvimento e Gestão (MP) e da educação (MEC), publicada no Diário oficial da União (DOU) número 79 no dia 26 de abril do corrente A Febrapils e Feneis durante a realização da Conali2017 – Conferência Nacional da Libras, realizada na cidade de Porto Alegre (RS) nos dias 24, 25 e 26 de abril do corrente ano, vem a público repudiar a referida portaria que autoriza a contratação de temporária de 150 profissionais técnicos de nível superior especializados em linguagem de sinais. […] Feneis e Febrapils juntamente com os profissionais surdos e ouvintes presentes na Conali2017 não medirão esforços em busca do respeito, valorização e da defesa da categoria dos tradutores, intérpretes e guias-intérpretes e do respeito à comunidade surda e surdocega brasileira que devem ter seus direitos linguísticos e culturais garantidos e respeitados por meio de serviços de acessibilidade com excelência.
