Lenildo Souza (Diretor Sudeste da Febrapils) no dia 09 de Dezembro de 2019, a convite das coordenadoras Karine Rocha, Laura Belém e Renata Costa, participou do curso de extensão: Formação Continuada do Profissional Tradutor Intérprete Educacional de Língua Brasileira de Sinais: Nos Espaços de educação Superior, como palestrante do tema: “A regulamentação do tradutor e interprete e diálogos sobre a Associação dos TILSPG”.
Durante sua fala, foram abordados os processos envolvidos no Projeto de Lei n° 9.382/2017 em tramitação, bem como a atitude da FEBRAPILS em articulação com as associações regionais sobre esse e outros assuntos. E de maneira coletiva, todos têm contribuído para elaboração das notas e questões que envolvem a comunidade Surda. Lenildo salientou também, como todos podem participar com suas habilidades e disposição para com as associações e em extensão a federação que assim o ganho será de todos.
